Boston, Massachusetts: Major general practice firm with well-established
intellectual property department is seeking a technical specialist or
patent agent or associate with a background in biotechnology. Positions
require candidates with 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience.
The successful candidates will have superior academic credentials and
very strong writing skills.. Silicon Valley, California: Intellectual property attorney with
BSEE or equivalent, JD from top tier law school, member of PTO and CA
bars; at least five years of preparation and prosecution experience
in semiconductor technologies. This position will be responsible for
supporting and managing ip issues, including patent procurement, managing
outside counsel, drafting and reviewing transactional documents and
license agreements, analyzing competitorsproducts for possible infringement,
supporting corporate counsel, and preparing invalidity and non-infringement
opinions. Other responsibilities include assisting litigation matters.
Salary: $170-190,000, sign-on bonus and stock options. Westchester County, New York: Major corporation seeks patent attorney or agent with 2-10 years of experience, preferably some at a law firm, to prosecute patent applications relating to bioinformatics and computer technology, biomedical, medical systems, engineering information science. Salary: $140-145,000, bonus eligible (25% of base salary), would relocate but prefer someone local. Small Town, CT: Two person firm is seeking a third; partner potential. As a matter of fact, they want someone who is entrepreneurial, produces excellent work and their desire is to make this person a partner is a short time. product he provides them seeks a patent attorney with an electrical
engineer or physics undergrad degree who takes pride in his/her work
and enjoys the benefits of a small shopatmosphere. Only 1500 billable
hours required as a minimum, but the ski is the limit for anyone with
ambition and drive. The only caveat is that the work done be of top
quality. Boston Suburb, MA:
BS in biology, biochem, mole bio, but an advanced degree is preferable;
JD and admission to a state bar and USPTO; 3 years of experience with
a law firm and/or corporation. Practice: prep and pros (US and foreign);
preparation of infringement, validity, freedom-to-operate opinions and
client counseling; excellent written and verbal skills, ability to work
with people from diverse backgrounds and at different levels in the
company (i.e., staff scientists, group directors, VPs, etc.). Must have
the ability to juggle priorities and deadlines. New York City: Major general practice firm would like either a very junior attorney or a more senior (5+ years) patent agent with background in electrical engineering or physics or physics to prosecute patent applications relating to systems, software and light electromechanical. |
